Privacy Policy

1. SwiftPack Studio

SwiftPack Studio:

• do not require an account, registration, or login for normal use;
• do not require a subscription, trial registration, activation, or license-server authentication;
• do not send application usage data or telemetry to Smekal Solutions servers;
• do not require a Smekal Solutions backend server, application server, or database for normal operation; and
• perform application packaging and related processing on your own computer, subject to any third-party services you choose to use.

Smekal Solutions does not operate a backend service for SwiftPack Studio that receives or stores the application's normal packaging data or usage information.

2. Data We Collect

SwiftPack Studio does not require you to provide personal data to install or use the free Software.

The Software does not require an account, registration, login, password, subscription, or license-server authentication for normal use.

If you voluntarily contact Smekal Solutions by e-mail or through another support channel, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, e-mail address, company name, enquiry, support request, or attachments. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and provide the requested service.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect Through SwiftPack Studio

SwiftPack Studio is designed to operate as a local desktop application. Smekal Solutions does not operate a backend server, application server, database, or telemetry service that receives or stores data generated by SwiftPack Studio during normal use.

SwiftPack Studio does not collect, transmit to Smekal Solutions, or store on Smekal Solutions servers:

• application installers or software packages you work with;
• scripts, packaging configurations, or deployment settings you create or use;
• your Microsoft Intune credentials or authentication tokens;
• your Microsoft Intune tenant data or content published to Intune;
• hardware identifiers, serial numbers, or machine names;
• usage analytics, telemetry, or feature-usage information; or
• your files or application content processed by the Software.

All work performed by SwiftPack Studio occurs on your own computer and, where applicable, within your own Microsoft tenant or other third-party services that you choose to use.

4. Third-Party Services

SwiftPack Studio may interact with third-party software, services, repositories, package sources, Microsoft Intune, GitHub, winget, vendor download locations, e-mail services, or other services that you configure or use.

These third parties operate independently of Smekal Solutions and may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. Smekal Solutions does not control the privacy practices of third-party services.

For example, when you publish an application to your Microsoft Intune tenant or download software from a third-party repository, the relevant third party may process information necessary to provide that service.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Information voluntarily provided to Smekal Solutions may be shared with service providers, subcontractors, or other parties where reasonably necessary to provide a requested service, to comply with law, or with your instruction or consent where applicable.

Third-party services used directly by you through SwiftPack Studio are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Retention

For SwiftPack Studio itself, Smekal Solutions does not maintain an account, licensing database, or application-usage database because the Software does not require these services for normal use.

For enquiries and service engagements, we retain business contact information and service-related materials only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant business purpose, contractual obligations, legal requirements, dispute resolution, or legitimate business record-keeping.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction and applicable law, you may have rights relating to personal data held by Smekal Solutions, including rights to access, correct, update, or delete information, or to raise a complaint with a relevant data-protection authority.

Because SwiftPack Studio does not require an account or transmit normal application-usage data to Smekal Solutions, these rights primarily apply to information you voluntarily provide to us through enquiries, support, training, or other services.

8. Security

SwiftPack Studio does not send normal application packaging data to a Smekal Solutions server. Information that you voluntarily provide to Smekal Solutions through e-mail or service engagements is handled using reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children

Our software and professional services are not directed to children and are intended primarily for professional, business, educational, or technical use.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date and version shown above when material changes are made.
